Fossilized Top Jaw Alligator Maxilla with Teeth
This is a fossilized alligator maxilla with teeth still attached from the Pleistocene. The indents are from integumentary sensory organs that could feel even the most minor changes in water pressure. When people say crocodilians haven’t really changed in millions of years, these fossils are how we know.
Measures: 2.5”long by 1.5” wide at the widest point and 2.5” tall.
